The Huia is a bird unique to New Zealand.Revered for its beauty,distinctive yellow plumage,long curved beak and intoxicating song.It was soughit after by local Maori and European settlers.

It is with these attributes in mind that proprietors Roger Chu,Jeff chai and justin Crooks have decided to use this unique creatures name for this restaurant.
